One of my biggest regrets in life is that I did not go to the Pre-Broadway premier of Spamalot at the Schubert Theater in Chicago with Tim Curry in the lead as King Arthur.
I had seriously considered attending that premier, myself; but it just didn't work out. Fortunately, I did get to see him perform on his concert tour back in '79.
