Kochen 🇺🇸🧤Diego Kochen is starting (his debut) in goal post for Barça Atlètic. He has already signed his contract until 2028 and he's expected to join the team for the rest of the season.Great addition to the team for next season🔝💫 #FCBMasia pic.twitter.com/mkYM5uC3KQ— LaMasia Report (@Lamasia_Report) April 14, 2024 This is great for Kochen, who has been on the bench for the Barça first team for the majority of the season but has gotten very little minutes at any level. Barça Atlètic are currently 2nd in their group in the 3rd tier and have a decent chance at being promoted. https://t.co/aui8uBHCO4— American Ultras Talk (@ameriultrastalk) April 14, 2024

The "Youth Yanks Abroad, 2001-04 YOBs" thread seems to be buried and not in use, why not just have one thread for all ages instead of separating it into two threads? Korede Osundina Make that 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠-𝙩𝙤-𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 Eerste Divisie matches with a goal for @Korede_Osundina! ⚽️ 🇳🇱 https://t.co/fdqoGNkTex— USL Championship (@USLChampionship) April 19, 2024 John "Xuhxuh" Hilton sighting 🗣️ "Schapenkoppen!" 🐑#dortop— ESPN NL (@ESPNnl) April 19, 2024
Well, when we started breaking these up it was probably because, in addition to there being some natural symmetry around four-year Olympic cycles (it's debatable but anyway) there seemed to be a period where there's just particularly high volume, making one thread unwieldy. Maybe we're not in one of those periods now, or maybe that wasn't a thing. I'm not going to run the numbers! The older thread ends with the Olympics anyway. At that point we'll have YNTs from 2005-2010. That's probably not unmanageable for a while.
UEFA Youth League thread The UEFA Youth League is hearing into their Finals. The team who made it to the furthest with an American on the team were Lens, Leipzig, and Feyenoord. There were a fair share of young Americans who made an appearance in the prestigious youth tournament. Below is the list#USMNT— Zach McCabe (@zjmccabe) April 20, 2024

Yow is just getting started in Europe, no need to Mihailovic yet, that option will always be there... In there, per sources: USYNT winger Griffin Yow is expected to leave Westerlo this summer after a breakout season (currently 7g/6a).Three MLS clubs are looking at a move for the 21-year-old, as are others in Europe. Indeed. But we have to expect MLS clubs to ALWAYS be "interested" in this type of player. I imagine MLS clubs are continuously scouting and expressing interest behind the scenes in domestic players abroad of this ilk. Doesn't have to mean anything.
