📸 - Emiliano Martínez dancing in front of the French people as soon as he saved the last penalty. pic.twitter.com/6t6Wwh9D5M— 𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐗 💎 (@TheEuropeanLad) April 18, 2024 Dunked on France at the World Cup and he dunked on them at club level again, ladies and gentlemen I present to you Ser Dibu Emiliano Martinez 🫡 pic.twitter.com/cVBo5oIy8m— Olamide♐️ (@cruise_update6) April 18, 2024 The reactions to Dibu Martinez's antics are interesting. “Love this guy”, “elite shithousery”, “he owns the French people again”. Media hailing him, fans loving it, all that. Meanwhile Vinicius says a word to the ref or to a player and he's a provocateur that deserves what he gets. Fan abuse, deserving of hatred, petulant child blah blah blah We know what it is
Idk I never really saw anything all that special in Fati or some of the other hyped La Masia kids but Yamal just passed the eye test for me from very early on. I think we’d be rightfully excited if he was ours. In addition to the pace and acceleration he seems to have a very good final ball for his age. Then again I thought Puig and Ilaix might be good prospects so I’m probably just bad at scouting their players lol.
The first tweet makes it sound like he was dancing and winding-up the Lille supporters for an extended period of time. He merely turned toward them for at most half a second. Social media is dumb in general but especially for stuff like this. Trying to make it seem like someone is a provocateur when its the tweeter themselves that are provoking (in a sad and desperate manner).
Dibu Martinez is a clown. Another case of a guy who got lucky he knew how to play football. Otherwise, he would be selling drugs somewhere or already dead.
He said both him and the club came to the conclusion that should they end their cooperation at the end of the season, and he intends to honor that.
He most probably have matured and grown up, he's working in a field where guys stay young because their field of work basically doesn't reward or promote maturity. Our character is like a stone that has it's edges constantly sanded down by work, life, and responsibility. Football players begin playing pro football at 17-18 and that's basically their life until they are mid to late 30s.
Dibu never complained about abuse though. That's kind of the thing that makes people mad about him. He provokes folks and doesn't care about what's coming back. To me there's something very interesting about a person that is THIS ignorant.
United is a huge club with money. He has no obligation to win anything but to bring some peace to a turbulent club. Looks like a good spot for a coach in semi-retirement.
And have future coaching prospects at the top level like Moyes, Ole and Ten Hag? Not saying those managers didn't have their issues, but Manchester United needs to be burnt to the ground and built up again, and that's not a job Zidane wants. I can only imagine how entitled and toxic the likes of Rashford and co are at that club. Complete mess all round.
Nothing to see here, just Mats Hummels taking the piss out of the English Premier League sides in Europe Hard day’s work 🧑🌾 https://t.co/a4eHwmAp4O pic.twitter.com/THEKAzfaIN— Borussia Dortmund (@BlackYellow) April 19, 2024
Vini reacted when he's subjected to monkey chants,. He won't care if people just mocked him like Dibu.
Zidane doesn't seem like a guy that has any sort of contacts in the press. Nobody has been right about his future so far, and mundodeportivo and lequipe will surely not be the first to do so
Tone-deaf as you always have been in this matter. Vini is not to blame for Spaniards making monkey chants in stadiums.
I'm not going to do the song and dance with you. You know what i mean, i know what i mean, but you're trying to switch the subject for whatever reason. You're seeing a model professional and a future captain. I don't. So i'll just stick to saying ok to you because that's what it is.
Been seeing a lot of negative reactions in social media to the English commentary hyping the EPL recently. I think everyone recognizes there are good teams there but the disrespect for clubs from other leagues seems to be getting some pushback finally.
Hmmm everyone hates Dibu. Only people that like his douche bs are his own team’s fans Dibu is also a keeper so we only get to see this when there are pks mostly. If he was a field player, my God he’d be unbearable and public enemy number one. Another reason we hear more about Vini is because Vini is a MUCH MUCH MUIUCH bigger star but make no doubt, Dibu truly is football’s biggest villain
That wasn't the question though. Ramos went to other teams grounds, absolutely battered their best player for 90 minutes, called 5 people a son of a b*tch, called them cowards then hugged them and said "good game, let's swap shirts". He was self reflected about being a shit head. Vinicius has been grabbed by the palm of his hand to protect himself from being too much in his emotions. There's a difference between a villain and what Vinicious does. That's why they don't really compare. Also let's be honest, people triggered by Dibu are simply not old enough to see the stuff Oliver Kahn was getting away with or simply forgot.
Well I was kind of siding with you but for different reasons. Question why is why he doesn’t get the same treatment for his behavior as Vini my answer is because he’s not an outfield player, plays for a somewhat small club, it’s not even one of the best in his position. Comparing apples and oranges, but people to hate his bs too.
Dibu antogonizes the opponent, he's a guy like Ramos was and still is. Vinicius isn't that, he has an air of entitlement about him, which is something a lot of players like him have, like doing whatever they want on the field is their right. I really don't care either way, but there's consequences to everything.
Dibu never complained about abuse though. That's kind of the thing that makes people mad about him. This was your reply to Miami. Vini didn't complain about insults. He replied by dancing again to those who moaned about his celebration after the girl. It became an issue only after insults turned into racist slurs.
